Aging Successfully

Successful aging can mean more than good health.  It can also mean taking charge of your personal well-being so that you can continue to live an energetic and independent life well into your golden years.Aging successfully requires a personal commitment to living an active lifestyle.  Here are some things you can do to ensure a long and healthy life.  Eat plenty of colors.  Vibrant fruits and veggies will give you the energy to maintain an active lifestyle.   Stay in touch with friends and family, make sure to keep up with your health screenings, and find a way to manage stress so you worry less.  Get up and get moving whether you’re taking a walk with a friend or trying a new yoga class, stay active.  And get involved with a local organization that is looking for volunteers.  This is a great way to give of your time while feeling good about your contribution!
