Apple Cider Vinegar

Earthsense

The benefits of drinking apple cider vinegar have been touted for years now; they range from boosting energy to helping in the digestion process, and even killing the bacteria that cause bad breath.  If you’re ready to try apple cider vinegar, consider that, like other vinegars, it is very acidic so dilute it – add one tablespoon (or 2 at the most) to a glass of water.  If you drink it straight, it will be very painful.

Most find it best to drink in the morning on an empty stomach as some foods can counteract the effectiveness of vinegar.  Studies have shown that apple cider vinegar can help lower cholesterol levels and the risk of heart disease.  Because apple cider vinegar has an alkalizing effect, it can help balance pH levels in your body and the probiotics in apple cider vinegar can also help with digestion.
