Chemicals in Household Cleaners

Earthsense

Many of the chemicals we use to clean our homes are banned abroad and when combined with other products can be potentially hazardous to your health.  And because manufacturers don’t have to list all ingredients on their labels, you could be creating a toxic environment in your home.

Even products labeled as green or natural may present risks to those who ingest, spill, or inhale their fumes.  Read warning labels on products and don’t take a chance on products with warnings like poison, danger, or fatal if swallowed- children and pets are most at risk from these warning labels.  Be wary of the word “fragrance” in the listing of ingredients which can mean any number of chemicals combined to create a smell, but often these undisclosed chemicals can trigger allergies and asthma.
