Re-Purposed Garden Art

Earthsense

Landscaping and yard decorating, whether you hire someone to do the work or garden yourself, can be costly.  So, before you purchase lawn features, consider items that you may already have.  For example, an old bed frame can be set up in the yard as a “flower bed.”

Instead of purchasing new flower pots, repaint the ones you already have or use pots and dishes you no longer need in the kitchen.  Just be sure to drill a hole in the bottom of any items you re-purpose for planting.  A child’s wagon can be used to transport your tools around the yard, or park it and us it to display potted plants.  Tires can be used as planters or find a sturdy branch and hang it for kids to use as a swing.  The possibilities are endless when you start thinking about items you already own but don’t use anymore.
