Stop Buying Start Making

As you shop for products for your home, you may find many of them contain toxic chemicals.  But many household goods are easier to make than you think.  Here are some things you should stop buying and start making. Peanut butter is a pantry staple, but many commercial brands have additives you may not want to consume!  But you can make your own with three ingredients: peanuts, oil and salt.  Baking a loaf of bread is simple and could save you a little money if you regularly buy bread at the grocery store.  Instead of buying preservative laden butter, make your own with just four ingredients and a stand mixer.  And you can make our own cosmetics like shampoo, conditioner, shaving cream, and face masks with fresh ingredients.  Make your own mouthwash by combining one cup of distilled water and 2-3 drops of peppermint oil.
