College Night in the CSRA and the Year Ahead for SC Future Minds

Westinghouse Savannah River Nuclear Solutions, LLC, hosts another College Night next week and if this event is anything like the past twenty or so, hundreds of high school juniors and seniors, particularly those in the Central Savannah River Area (CSRA), will have an opportunity to learn about majors, financial aid, post-graduate opportunities and much more from over 150 representatives from college representatives and other higher education officials. In addition to the event, which is free, fourteen $1000 scholarships will be given away to attendees. Also, we'll have a conversation with Trip DuBard, the Executive Director of SC Future Minds and Trip will outline some of the ways businesses and individuals support public education in the state and how past efforts of the organization have resulted in opportunities for South Carolina students.
